I’m really excited to relaunch my blog with my weekly updates, it just feels right. It’s the reason I started my blog years ago!
This week has been much about preparation. Making endless lists of things to pack, documents to change, apply for jobs, starting to pack and obviously a lot of procrastinating too (in the form of self love, Jason time and food of course!)
I started the week mostly at my laptop in the mornings, working the afternoons and then relaxing and slowly packing in the evenings – until Rhys would come round then we’d watch something on Netflix. I’ve used Netflix A LOT the past month and watched some amazing shows.
May Netflix Faves: • Dead To Me • Brooklyn Nine-Nine • A few episodes of Black Mirror – I’m still too much of a wimp to watch most of them!! • Our Planet • The Lorax
I’ve been trying to read more in the mornings, since I always get distracted at night and it’s becoming a nicer way to wake up. I’ve gotten into quite a good routine of waking up, doing some yoga, having porridge for breakfast and then reading for half hour! It makes the morning much easier for me and I feel relaxed to start my day.
Speaking of films, myself, Maya and Rhys went to watch Secret Life of Pets 2 on Tuesday and I loved it! I’ve got a guilty pleasure for kids films, they’re just much easier to watch. Then afterwards we went and got a pizza each from Sainsbury’s ( because it’s much cheaper than eating out) and chilled for the night!
I spent most of Friday morning packing boxes and getting things ready to drive down! I’m coming back on Sunday for my last week at home and so I can get the final bits then. I also cleaned my car out!! So it smells gorgeous and is sparkly clean inside… outside not so much! I drove down to Rhys’s with a quick stop for snacks midway … it wasn’t as scary as first anticipated!
We spent Saturday at Bristol tattoo convention with Joe. It was such a muggy day and it gave me quite a bad headache but I still had a lovely time and just drank as much water as I could. It was great to see all the artists and their different styles… I didn’t get any, none of us did, but we got some nice ideas!
My favourite artists there were: •@mr_heggie •@fuckinghellkirst •@lo_marie_s •@laurenscarrott_tattoo
And now it’s Sunday. I think we’re just going to spend the day relaxing. We have a few things to sort out in our room but apart from that just TV, enjoying the almost okay weather and then driving back to mine this evening.
I hope you’ve had a lovely week and I can’t wait to see what next week brings.
Until next time.
